My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB:  05/14/24

Milky Way is a beautiful fluffy black and white young kitty. She has the cutest white whiskers. She really likes the feather wand toy her foster mom uses to play. She enjoys running through her tunnels, climbing the cat tower, and looking out the window in the foster room.

Milky Way was one of the kittens abandoned with her mom, Gertrude. She is a bit shy, but is starting to accept pets and being picked up. She will lay on the bed and sleep with you.

Her foster mom is certain once she is in her forever home she will become a cuddle bug.

Milky Way is fostered in a home with dogs but has not met them. With a slow introduction, she may do well, especially with a calm cat-friendly dog.

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
