Emma
Female (spay scheduled for 12/19)
35lbs
8 months
Lab/hound mix
Emma is a sweet and affectionate pup with a heart of gold, and she is ready for some love. Though she may have had a rough start on the streets of Texas, she's now safe in a foster home and ready to find her forever home! This sweet girl is a cuddle bug who greets you with a happy wiggle and is always looking for belly rubs. She can be a little shy when she first meets you, but she warms up and becomes her playful self in no time!
Emma is almost fully house trained (a little unsure about the rain and snow, but she’s learning). She is also crate trained, even though she gets a little bit of FOMO when you leave the house or go to bed without her! She knows basic commands like "sit" and "come” and loves to be rewarded with a treat. Emma is smart and certainly catches on to things quickly! She understands a gentle “no” and will correct easily.
She is so gentle and kind, perfect for those seeking a low-key pup, but she also can also be playful, especially when she has a chew toy or her foster brother wants to play! She has really loved having another dog around to show her the ropes and build her confidence. Her favorite activities include chewing a bone in her foster brother’s dog bed, snuggling up to watch a movie, and looking out the window for hours. Emma’s foster mom’s favorite thing about her is how she will melt into your arms for a good snuggle or roll onto her back for belly rubs at any moment.
Emma is looking for a loving family who will give her the second chance she deserves. Could you be the one to open your heart and home to this adorable girl?
If you are interested in Emma, please apply at the adoption link in the comments below or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.
