My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Leo!

Leo’s first year of life was filled with uncertainty, but his foster family has shown him the joy of love, play, and being part of a family. In just a few days, this once-timid boy has blossomed into a happy, playful pup who loves chasing his foster brother and soaking up affection.

Leo is fully crate trained—he adores his “apartment,” where he sleeps peacefully through the night or relaxes during the day. He’s also housebroken and has wonderful indoor manners. Leo thrives around other dogs, eagerly learning how fun playtime can be, and he’s entirely uninterested in cats.

He’d love a home with another dog to guide him, but he’s just as content soaking up all the attention as the only pup in the house. With each day, his confidence grows, and his tough past becomes a distant memory.

Are you ready to give this sweet, resilient boy the loving home he deserves? To apply to adopt, visit tailsofhopewi.org.

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
