Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a 7-year-old bundle of love with a scruffy coat and the kindest eyes. He’s a little shy at first, but once he knows you, he’ll shower you with cuddles and tail wags. This sweet boy is neutered, microchipped, and ready to find his forever family!

Charlie’s adventurous side makes him a bit of a climber, which is how he ended up looking for a new home. A secure yard or leash walks would be perfect for this curious cutie. Deep down, he’s just a gentle, loving pup who wants to be by your side.

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period. Our Purpose is:

To rescue adoptable dogs and puppies from animal shelters and animal control facilities

To rescue dogs and puppies from abusive and neglectful situations, including puppy mills and "backyard breeders"

To help educate the public on proper animal care and promote spaying and neutering of all pets
