My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Murphy, a sweet and loving dog that needs a new home. I've had him since he was 8 weeks old, and he is such a character! Like most herding breeds, he has taken on the role of household monitor and thrives on routine.

I regret to say that after losing my job and taking on two others, I am struggling to meet his needs—physically, mentally, and financially. We have had to downsize our living space, which has negatively affected his mental health, and I am concerned about his overall well-being. At eight years old, he deserves a happy life with someone who can keep him active and provide the structure he desperately craves.

Due to the stress Murphy has developed GI issues that also negatively affect his health. This is not what I want for him and this is a situation I cannot see changing soon.

Murphy is smart, charming, and loves being near his people. He would thrive in a quiet home with active individuals willing to help him get back to his best self.
