My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Apply for cats at www.carmah.org
All cats are first come first serve; sorry, we cannot reserve cats.

I’m Chapel, a stunning tabby girl with a heart of gold and personality for days. I am a true social butterfly who adores both people and other animals. Whether I'm curled up on your lap for a cozy snuggle session or engaging in a lively play session with my furry companions, I am always the life of the party! I can also happily play by myself. After all that activity, I love to sleep on the bed or curl up on your lap. And if you pet another cat, I’ll come over and ask for some love too!

I’m great with cats, and have no known exposure to dogs or children.

I am 1.5 years old and in great health. Need a cat who will capture your heart?

More about this rescue

Our all-volunteer feline rescue group is non-profit and no-kill. We have served our area of MA since 2002.
Our mission is to reduce the suffering of homeless cats, with a focus on cats in Central Massachusetts. Our programs include trap-neuter-release, placement of working cats, and adoptions of pet cats. We rely heavily on community involvement -- through volunteerism, fostering, and community awareness.
We welcome new volunteers and donations! See our website, https://www.carmah.org/ for more information.
