My name is Samuel - Dog Friendly, Potty Trained!!

It takes a long time to get this sweet. I’m Samuel, an adorable golden boy and I’m ready to spend my retirement with you. I came to High Country Humane because I was found wandering on my own. I’m just focused on where I’ll spend my golden years. I should tell you a bit about myself. I’m as affectionate as I am easy to please. And one of my favorite things to do is napping in that sunny spot on the floor.

If I sound like your next pal, then come meet me! I want to show you how laid-back four-legged living is done. I have plenty of love left to give because love doesn’t keep track of years. I like female dogs and people, my caretakers are unsure if I like cats or kids. I am fully potty trained and know "Sit" & "Down" commands as well as walking great on a leash! Come by High Country Humane to meet me!

Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
