My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elsa and Willow are two bonded sister bunnies looking for a loving home to support them on their journey to better health. These gentle giants are spayed, vaccinated, and are otherwise healthy, but are currently very overweight. They're now in foster care on a strict vet-approved diet plan, and their new family will need to continue helping them achieve their weight loss goals.

As very large rabbits, Elsa and Willow are used to a free-roam lifestyle and will thrive in a spacious setup where they have plenty of room to stretch, explore, and play. They previously lived with a big family, including kids and a cat, and are open to a similar environment. However, like most rabbits, they would prefer a quieter, calmer home where they can feel secure and truly relax.

If you have space in your home and heart for this delightful duo, they'll bring you endless love, companionship, and lots of bunny charm!

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress
