Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diesel is a wonderful dog who just needs the right family to appreciate his fun and playful nature. He was found as a stray and owner was found via the chip but when contacted refused to take him back - heartbreaking, yet hopeful because he is such a loving dog, full of life and potential.
Here are a few ways Diesel’s qualities can shine:
**Adventure Buddy** Perfect for active families who love hiking, camping, or exploring the great outdoors.
**Yard Play** A large yard will be a great outlet for his playful energy.
**Training Potential** Diesel has a great start with being crate trained, house trained, and knowing basic commands. Continued training will surely bring out the best in him.
**Doggie Playdates** He thrives with dogs his size so he’d do well in a home where he has a furry friend to play with.
He’s house and crate trained, and a bit of mouthiness can be managed with continued training. With the right family, Diesel can become the best version of himself and bring a lot of joy and adventure into their lives. 🐾
No cats or tiny dogs recommended. And due to his size and energy we also do not recommend a home with toddlers.
Diesel's adoption fee of $225 includes a microchip, vaccinations, and neuter surgery. If you would like to set up a Meet & Greet and be considered for adoption, please click on the button with the pet’s name to fill out an application. Someone will contact you within 24 hours. If you have difficulty with the application, please email us at Rescue@AnthemPets.org.
NOTE: Only Arizona based adoption inquiries will be considered.
