My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Doug is a one-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality! This playful pup is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for playdates and outings. Doug’s youthful energy shines through in his playful antics. He can get a little jumpy when he’s excited, but it’s all part of his charm! With some patience and continued training, he’s sure to grow into a well-mannered adventure buddy. Whether it's romping around the yard or going for a long walk, Doug is always ready for fun.

If you’re looking for an energetic, friendly, and loving dog to brighten your home, Doug is your guy

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
