My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mama Brownie is a sweet and loving young cat with a heart full of affection and a playful spirit that will melt your heart! At just 1.5-2 years old, she’s already proven to be a wonderful mom to her adorable litter of kittens, but now she’s ready to find a home where she can relax and enjoy the love and attention she truly deserves. Mama Brownie has a warm, friendly personality that makes her a joy to be around.

She’s a social cat who gets along well with other cats and would likely warm up to a dog, too. She’s also lived with kids, so she’s used to a busy, loving home and would be a great addition to a family.

Mama Brownie is gentle and affectionate, but she also knows how to have fun! She loves to play and explore, bringing plenty of energy and joy to her environment. Whether it’s a snuggle on the couch or a playful chase around the house, Mama Brownie is sure to keep things lively and full of love. If you're looking for a sweet, well-rounded cat to add to your family, Mama Brownie is ready to steal your heart!

Ready to give Mama Brownie the forever home she deserves? Adopt this beautiful, loving cat today and let her charm you with her sweet nature!

More about this rescue

Rescue, Retrain, Redeem, and Re-home.
Redemption Road Rescue Rehab Inc (aka R4) is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization based in Lake County, Illinois. R4 functions as an all-breed and ages, dog and cat rescue that specializes in behavioral training and rehabilitation. We are a professionally operated nonprofit dog and cat rescue run by certified dog trainers. We believe the solution to “difficult” animals cannot just be euthanasia. Our mission is to place dogs and cats that have undergone our rehabilitation program with responsible, reliable, and devoted owners. Our training specialty is centered in dog behaviors and understanding the canine mind. We take in all breeds, all ages and work with domesticated felines and feral cat colonies as well. Our expectations of adopters: 1- Consider the animal as an individual with their own personality and behaviors. 2- Be willing to learn, ask questions, and implement training into their daily routine. 3- Work alongside our team to prepare their home to provide the best environment for their new family member. R4 is 100% volunteer-run and foster-based and relies on donations, fundraisers, grants, and sponsorships to allow our organization to fulfill our mission to animals in need.
