My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Christie. As a young kitten, I was found outside, so right now I am learning that people are kindhearted. This has been taking me a bit of time, but I am kind of sort of getting used to this petting thing. I would do best in a home that will continue to show me warmth and affection and understand that I will need extra time to adjust to living in a home. One day I will get the hang of it and be a great companion to the person that wins my heart over!

If you are interested in getting to know me and giving me a chance to be in a home, please give the shelter a call at 719-686-7707 to let them know you want to come in!

Additional adoption info

To adopt:
All adoptions must be done in person. Visit the shelter to meet the adoptable animals you would like to consider. TCRAS is open 6 days a week, please see hours of operation.

Your visit with each animal will be assisted by a trained adoption specialist to answer questions, address concerns and to help you decide if the animal is a good fit for your home environment (i.e. children, other pets, specific needs, etc). You can also bring in your current pets to do a visitation (this may be required with certain animals).
