Hi, my name is Nicky and here is my story. I am a cat who has had a rough go of it and I am looking for a family who will be patient with me. I had a home but was left behind when my family moved away, leaving me outside to fend for myself. I didn't do well outside and living without a family was tough on me as I was physically hurt, lost trust in humans, and became very afraid.

But then Proverbs came to my rescue and I have a new chance at a new great life.

I am a big talker, who enjoys my scratch pole, treats and soft bed. I am not afraid of the 4 big dogs in my foster home and love to roam the house. I have learned that being petted feels nice but it still scares me if you move too fast and I will even rub up against your legs now. I started laying next to my foster family recently and my foster mom is so proud. When it's time to nap I prefer to go to my quiet space.

Foster Mom: I am proud of how far Nicky has come as he was very scared when he came to us. We gave him a consistent safe place to recover and find his way to trusting us. He really deserves his own calm home, with no kids and one that will be patient with him as he continues to realize his potential. If you have a calm home and are looking for a buddy to love and grow a relationship with then Nicky is your guy. He makes a great companion.

Adoption Fee: $130

Nicky is neutered, microchipped, is up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia.

We offer a Foster program for those who would like to provide a temporary home to one in need.

All older puppies (6 mos or more) and adults are fully vetted prior to adoption.

Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue is a NO KILL animal rescue dedicated to providing shelter and loving care (which includes food, veterinary care and any other necessity) for animals that were abused, abandoned, owner surrendered, or destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will care for these animals until such time as a good, responsible, loving home can be found for all adoptable animals.
