Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Zeus was rescued from a home where he was crated and put in a diaper on and off for a few years.
We have been fostering him for a few months now and he is sweet, affectionate, and so deserving of a calm home he can be loved in.
Because of his past he has behavioral issues like randomly peeing in the home, and nipping at strangers wheb he FIRST meets them. If he doesnt nip right away, it wont happen at all.
I do not know the last time he was taken to the vet but he is rumored to be around 13 years old. He doesnt show aggression being handled or groomed. The only time he lashes out is meeting new people and being physically disciplined. We use a spray bottle instead, that seems to work ok.
He does well with children, the last home he was in had a 2 year old with no incidents. He ONLY bites new people and ONLY once. Its bizzare, I think a PTSD response from his past.
We have 2 dogs and chickens that have not had a problem with him at all. He also does great on walks.
