My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Larry Fisherman, a charming feline with a heart as big as his personality! His sweet, friendly demeanor makes him a joy to be around. Larry`s curiosity often leads him to explore new surroundings, and his goofy antics never fail to bring a smile. He`s gentle and mellow, preferring a quiet afternoon of cuddles to a wild chase around the room. Larry`s sense of humor shines through in his funny expressions and playful pranks. He`s not just a cat, he`s a friend, a confidante, a source of laughter and love. Larry Fisherman is more than a shelter pet, he`s a companion waiting to share his warmth and joy with a loving family. Adopt Larry Fisherman and enrich your life with his endearing charm and unending affection!

Larry Fisherman was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FeLV is a disease that can`t be treated, but he is still able to live a happy and healthy life! It is transmitted through prolonged contact and shared bowls, litter boxes, etc. He will need to live in a home either with no other cats, or with a resident cat(s) that have already been diagnosed with this condition. FIV is transmitted to other cats through deep bite wounds, so it is recommended that he not go to a home with cats who have tested negative for FIV. If the adopter does have other cats who are friendly then they could both live peacefully together, but there is always a chance of FIV being transmitted if a fight were to occur. Larry likely spent a lot of his time roaming the great outdoors, but due to his diagnosis, he should be kept indoors to keep him and the neighborhood kitties as healthy as possible. Please see our adoption counselors for more information.
