Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This one-year-old, 40-pound shepherd mix has the most captivating charm about her! We dare you not to fall for her the moment you meet her!
Before coming to GLDR, Lannie spent some time in a foster home and we can't wait to tell you all we've learned. This affectionate pup is a tender-loving snuggle expert! She has lived with children and other dogs as well. Here at the kennel, she's done great with the other pups and we think she'd make an excellent pal for your family fur baby!
Lannie is house-trained and is doing well with her leash training as well. She will benefit from continued training and daily exercise in her new home. A yard of her own is a must for Lannie! She already knows sit and is capable of learning much more. Eager to please, Lannie is very food-motivated and takes her treats gently. Jerky is one of her faves!
Lannie's new family will need to be patient with her while she adjusts. Once she gives you that first kiss, you'll be hooked! She doesn't seem too interested in toys just yet, but that will probably change as she gets more comfortable. We can't wait to see her playful side come out! Admittedly, she is not a fan of being crated, but seems to do well in her kennel at the rescue. Lannie does well in the car and is ready to hit the road with you today!
Based on our evaluation, we feel Lannie would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. We fell she has the potential to live in a home with other dogs as she has done well with them in the past. She will be happiest being part of your day to day activities. Who wouldn't want to hang out with this darling girl!
