Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This two-year-old, 45-pound happy-go-lucky hound mix has so much to offer and can't wait for you to welcome him home!
Before coming to GLDR, Skipper spent some time in a foster home, and they had the best things to say about him! In addition to being house-trained and crate-trained, Skipper loves other pups and kids! His foster family also experimented with leaving him out when they left and he did great with that too! While he does tend to chase cats, his fosters felt like he could live in a home with a dog-savvy feline.
Admittedly, Skipper is having a hard time adjusting at the kennel after being in a foster home. If you'd like to foster him while he waits for his forever home, please fill out a foster application today!
A pup who enjoys being out and about, Skipper is always up for some playtime in the yard! He is very food-motivated which will be an excellent tool when training him. He knows sit, has excellent eye contact, and takes his treats gently. Skipper has yet to find a toy he doesn't like. He's just an all-around playful pup who is eager to be part of your family!
Skipper will benefit from continued training and daily exercise in his new home. A large yard for him to run in is a must for this spirited pup. If you're looking for a pal to accompany you on all of your adventures, don't wait another moment to come meet Skipper!
Based on our evaluation, we feel Skipper would do well in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. We feel he has the ability to live with other animals of a similar energy level. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
