Are whiskers on kittens one of your favorite things? Then have a peek at Nutmeg. This apricot tabby is both bewhiskered and beguiling. He's cute enough to photograph for your holiday cards and playful enough to appreciate any toy you give him.
Currently Nutmeg's favorite playthings are small balls that make noise when they roll. But he doesn't need toys to have fun. This active kitten loves his fosters and is always eager to meet new people. He purrs loud and low when carried or hugged. He also enjoys looking out the window, or sleeping in indoor sunlight.
Playing with other kittens is very high on Nutmeg's to do list. He even gets along with dogs, like his foster's Maltese and Chihuahua, both of whom he was introduced to gradually.
Like most kittens, Nutmeg lives to run, jump and even try climbing people's pants legs. He sometimes gently nips the hand of the person he's playing with. This doesn't breaks the skin or causes pain, but it makes Nutmeg best suited to live with children over 10.
Still, Nutmeg is easy to care for. He is not a picky eater and is litter box trained. Of course, because he is so social, Nutmeg doesn't enjoy being left alone. He would be happiest living with another pet or pets. Who wouldn't?
So if you're looking for the perfect holiday gift for yourself or a special someone, consider giving the gift that keeps on giving - Nutmeg.
