Asher is a gentle soul who’s looking for a peaceful place to call home. At 8 years old, this lovable boy is ready to retire in a calm, adult-only household where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort. He’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet and low-key cat to snuggle with and enjoy quiet moments together.

Asher is very easygoing, and he loves nothing more than lounging around and soaking up attention. He’s not demanding, but he does enjoy gentle petting and having some quality time with his humans. His ideal home would be one where he can be the star of the show – he’d prefer to be the only pet so he can have all the love and attention to himself.

As Asher is a senior kitty, he does have a few special needs that our medical team would love to discuss with potential adopters to ensure he has the best care moving forward.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
