Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ABOUT FLASH
As his name would suggest, this pup has the best zoomies! Flash is an 8-month-old lab mix who loves to goof around. He came to HAP from a high-intake shelter when they no longer had space for him. Since his arrival, he has been a little overwhelmed with shelter life and as a result, he's been a little unsure and hesitant in this new environment. He can be a little shy when meeting new people but absolutely loves meeting doggy friends! In true puppy fashion, Flash is working on his puppy manners, such as mouthiness or jumping, but he is easily redirected by treats or a toy. Flash can be jumpy and excitable when meeting dogs, so a pup that can keep up with his energy and playstyle is best! He knows basic commands and truly is eager to please. After some exercise or a training session and once you've earned his trust, he's quick to melt into your arms for snuggles and kisses!
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
