My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet bonded sisters LANI and JORDAN, two sweet girls with lots of love to give. LANI is a lovely sandy-brown tabby, and her sister JORDAN is a cute tortoiseshell with soft curly fur and tiny ears.  LANI loves to play with her sister and is an excellent biscuit maker when she sits on your lap. Although it takes Lani more time to warm up to new people and situations, with gentle encouragement and the support of her sister, Lani’s sweet, playful side emerges. JORDAN’s personality is the perfect mixture of snuggly and playful. While Jordan doesn’t yet seek out attention, she’s always happy to soak in love and pets when people approach her.  She’s very friendly and appreciates human interactions. LANI and JORDAN and their brother Ricardo were found as tiny kittens in a woodpile, and a Good Samaritan brought them to our cat rescue. Now these sisters are ready for a forever home to call their own.

LANI and JORDAN have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet LANI and JORDAN in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy at either Eugene PetSmart location. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The adoption fee for the bonded pair is $320, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.  For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. LANI ID# 2408-C0317, JORDAN ID 2409-C0352.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
