Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Are we about to be best friends? My name is Lucy. I’m a striking gal and I have puppy eyes that always say "I'm innocent!" I came to High Country Humane because my owner moved and couldn't take me with them. Regardless of where I came from, I’m just focused on finding my furever home. Is it with you?
Maybe I should tell you a bit about myself first! I’m as brilliant as I am fun-loving. And one of my favorite things to do is investigating smells. I’m like the Sherlock Holmes of sniffing. I’m energetic which means I need a good amount of physical and mental exercise to feel fulfilled. My previous owners said I loved my yard but did best with supervision, I am also crate and leash trained! I am fully potty trained and used to a home with adults who have a noisy home environment. I know how to sit, stay and am non destructive in the home. I love treats and will sit as pretty as possible for them but playing with toys is probably my favorite! I've done well with dogs that are male but have no experience with cats or livestock. I love everyone I meet so I know you and I will be best friends! Come by High Country Humane to meet me! I can’t wait to see you!
Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
