Hi there, I'm Anne. I'm a pretty chilled-out gal, a real mellow kind of dog. I'm super friendly and love to cuddle up to anyone who'll let me. I'm loyal too, always sticking by my friends, whether they're human or canine. I've got a funny side, I love to play and my antics will surely make you chuckle. I'm a bit shy, but once I get to know you, I'll show you my sweet, loving nature. I'm also pretty smart, I learn quickly and love to please. I may be living in a shelter, but I'm just like any other dog. I need a home where I can be loved and cherished. I promise to bring joy, laughter and lots of cuddles into your life. Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
