WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: The first thing most people notice first about Tux is how soft he is. He’s so velvety that when he rolls around on the carpet he collects all the little dust bunnies!
His hidden talent is definitely his ability to contort in practically any way imaginable. He’s always sitting with his legs all jumbled together or extended into a stellar sploot. Tux becomes a wet noodle when he’s sleepy, so make sure you have your spot in bed before he decides to stake his claim!
Tux has been good with most dogs apart from his foster brother. I think he’d benefit from having a sibling who he can run around and play with but will also correct him and give him the lay of the land. He has done well with both large and small dogs, although he tends to play rough. He has showed interest in cats, however the only direct interactions he’s had with them were with my cat, who was quite the bully towards him.
His favorite way to spend his day would probably be a long sniffy walk where he can chew up sticks and chase leaves followed by a nap in a sunbeam.

More about this rescue
Laila's Legacy missions is to ensure every homeless dog - including those with behavioral or physical challenges - that comes through our doors has a chance at a better life while educating the public on breed bias, individualistic training, and the importance of spay-neuter to lower the impact of returned and abandoned animals in shelters.
