Hi there, I'm Bones! I'm a real bundle of joy, full of energy and always up for a new adventure. I might be down two eyes and a couple teeth, but I don't let that dull my love for life (and people!). I'm a resilient guy with a zest for life-- a couple bumps in the road can't get me down. I love to play with my doggy friends here at the shelter, but I know I'd love a new home even more. I'm as sweet as they come, always ready to give love and receive it in return -- you'll find yourself smiling just being around me. I promise to bring so much joy into your life, all I ask for is a chance. Why should you adopt me? Well, I believe every home needs a loyal friend, and I'd love to be yours. I don't need eyes to see that you might just be my new favorite people!

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Animal Friends Alliance is a non-profit, adoption guarantee cat and dog shelter and low-cost spay/neuter clinic.
Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.

Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
