Hi there, I’m Orion!

They say I’m named after a constellation of stars, and you know what? I like to think that fits me just right. Like my celestial namesake, I might not always be the first one you notice in a crowd, but once you do, you’ll see I shine in my own special way. I’ve got a calm, laid-back vibe that’s a little different from your typical Australian Cattle Dog energy. Sure, I still enjoy a good walk or some playtime, but I’m also perfectly content lounging by your side, soaking up the love.

Here’s another bright spot: I get along great with other dogs! Whether it’s a playmate in the yard or a buddy to share the couch with, I’m happy to make friends and share the good vibes.

I was found wandering as a stray, so I’m still figuring out what it means to have a real home. I hear it’s pretty amazing, though, and I can’t wait to meet someone who’ll give me that chance. At 1.5 years old and 56 pounds, I’m just the right size to be your loyal companion without taking over your whole couch.
