My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don't we all wish we were a little bit taller? Nope. Not Shorty. He is perfectly happy at the height he is. Low to the ground where he can sniff out any fallen snacks. Tall enough to jump on the bed and take a snooze with you. Some people assume he's a Dalmatian, but he is all Terrier! He may be a bit shy at first, but give him a day to decompress and you will be showered with love and appreciation. It's starting to look a lot like Christmas, and what's Christmas without a place to call home. Give Shorty the holiday of his dreams. Adopt this spectacular boy today!

Here's some notes from his foster:

This long little short guy is clever and spunky! Shorty seems to be very well house trained. He loves his food and snacks.

He is however a little bit timid at times and could use some patient reassurance to his confidence. He loves his walks and checking out the scene and sniffing out the local spots. He was a little hesitant up a flight of steep stairs at first, but quickly learned that walks are imminent or that, coming in, food and a cuddle on the couch is expected. He likes to keep people in sight, learning what goes on and what might come next. At the end of the day Shorty adores cuddling up close in bed when it's chilly.
