My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $200, plus taxes
Location: Foster Home

Blossom is a gentle and loving gray tortoiseshell cat who's ready to leave her days as a devoted mom behind and find her forever home. With her soft, velvety coat and warm purrs, she's the perfect lap companion and will happily snuggle up with you any chance she gets.

Blossom is also quite the conversationalist, charming you with her adorable little meows as she shares her thoughts and feelings. She recently finished raising a beautiful litter of kittens, proving to be a devoted and attentive mother. Now, it's her time to relax and bask in the love and attention she so richly deserves.

If you're looking for a sweet, calm, and affectionate cat to bring warmth and companionship to your home, Blossom is the perfect fit. She's ready to meet you and become the cherished member of your family she was meant to be!

Go meet their pets

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.

In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.

CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
