Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Snickers! 🍫
Hi, I'm Snickers, and I'm ready to steal your heart—no candy bar required! I'm an 11-month-old, neutered, and fully vaccinated feline who is pretty much the definition of perfection. I’m sweet, loving, and always up for a snuggle (really, I’m the cuddling champion).
I get along with other cats, because I'm not just good—I’m purrfectly good. I’m a lover, not a fighter. My hobbies include lounging in laps, demanding belly rubs, and making you feel like the most special person in the world. Oh, and don’t forget the treats. I’ve got a soft spot for those, too.
If you’re looking for a furry companion who will follow you around like a shadow (but in a cute way, not the creepy kind), I’m your guy! Adoption fee is $90, and I promise, I’m worth every penny. If you’re ready to meet me, call the shelter at 256-362-5856 to set up an appointment.
Let’s make it official—I'll bring the love, you bring the snacks!

More about this shelter
We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the entire county of Talladega excluding the city limits of Lincoln, Sylacauga, and Childersburg. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
