Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Picasso. I’m a 6-month-old, mostly black (a bit of white on my tummy), domestic short hair kitten. I’m a sweet love bug of a kitten. I love, love, love to be held and cuddled. While I’m not being cuddled, I entertain myself by playing with the other foster kittens and cats, watching You-tube cat TV and watching live bird TV (bird watching out the windows 😉). And I really like helping my foster mom when she’s on her computer - like when she was writing my story.
My cat mom got to the foster home a few weeks before I was born so she got good food and care to help me be born healthy. Now it’s my turn to find my own family. My likes are cat trees (for running up and sleeping on) and toys I can chase (like feathers on a string or jingle balls). I also like to cuddle (did I say that already 😉) and be petted at almost anytime. I’m very loving and affectionate.
I’m all ready to go to my forever home. I’ve been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I’m sure I’ll be great friends with the whole family. I’d love a family with another friendly kitty or two since I’m so young. I may be a bit shy at first but that won’t last long because I love people. So, if you’d like to have a sweet, snuggly addition to your family, I’m your kitten. I’ll be waiting to hear from you!
P.S. This is a very loving and affectionate kitten who would warm your lap and your heart and who deserves a loving family home. So, if you are willing and able to adopt this wonderful young boy, please email drtweets2@msn.com or call/text 602-757-9791 and ask for Deb.

Complete an adopter application (email or text for a copy) followed up by a phone.interview. We ask about previous ownership of cats, dog doors, children, backup ownership in case of illness - the usual.
There is a re-homing fee for all cats and kittens..
The potential adopter would come to the foster home to meet the animal and then a home visit.
We return calls/texts/emails almost always within 24 hours even if the cat has already been adopted. We want to encourage adoption whether its from us or some other rescue.

More about this rescue
We are a group of women and men who have volunteered in rescue for over 20 years each. We foster the cats and sometimes dogs in our homes with our own animals. This allows us to get to know the animal and what type of family would fit it.
We also are the care givers for several community/colony cats at a local college. We've been doing this for years also. We have stabilized the cat population at the college and the only new cats arriving are ones abandoned there. We haven't had a litter in years!!! We TNR all the cats but don't return the tame ones as we foster these and get them new homes.
We also educate friends and colleagues on finding new homes for their own cats if they can no longer keep them.
We would love to welcome in other like minded people to foster, help trap, stock the feeder and water stations, and drive cats to the S/N clinics. We would also welcome any cat food donations for the feral cats.
