My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Milo!

This sweet, timid boy is looking for a patient and understanding family to help him feel safe and secure in his new home. Milo can be shy around new people, but once he builds trust, he’s a gentle soul who thrives on affection. He was previously in a home with his sister, but he's still adjusting to life with other dogs—he’s shown some issues with other dogs, though this could change as he becomes more comfortable and confident. If you have another dog and are interested in adopting, a meet and greet is required.

Milo doesn't know how to play just yet, but he absolutely loves treats of any kind, so he’s sure to be motivated by some tasty rewards! While he doesn’t seem to be a fan of cats, he might do well in a home with older kids who can respect his need for space and understand his shy nature.

Milo is looking for someone who’s willing to invest the time and patience to help him come out of his shell. With the right person, he’s sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. If you have a calm and supportive environment to offer, Milo could be the perfect addition to your family!

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Additional adoption info

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.
