Meet Spice – The Sweet but Shy Orange Tabby!
Spice is a 6-month-old male orange tabby with a bold, fiery coat that matches his spicy little personality. He’s a bit on the shy side and needs time and patience to feel comfortable in new surroundings. While he may initially seem a bit nervous, deep down, Spice is a sweet boy who just needs a safe, quiet space where he can slowly come out of his shell.
Spice is still learning to trust, and once he feels secure, he’ll reveal the affectionate companion he’s meant to be. He’s looking for a patient, understanding home where he can take his time to grow and build confidence at his own pace. With love and care, Spice will become a loyal, loving companion who’s well worth the wait.
If you’re an experienced cat owner who understands the needs of a shy kitty, Spice could be the perfect match for you. He just needs a little time to warm up, and in return, he’ll offer his unique brand of love and companionship.

We ask an adoption fee of $175 Which includes a general health exam, spay /neuter surgery, and microchip ID implant, Felv/FIV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
