My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a new home for Eleanor ("Ellie"), our four-year-old cat. She's healthy, UTD on shots, spayed, indoor only and has her claws. She loves attention from familiar people and taking naps in laps. She is toy motivated and well-behaved - she doesn't counter surf or try to steal human food. She loves to talk and follow us around the house. A home where she can watch TV and snuggle with her people regularly would be best. She would do best in a quiet home either as an only pet or with an older dog with close to zero prey drive.

Our reason for rehoming is that she is not cat-friendly. Ellie does not want to interact with any of her housemates except on her own terms, and our other cats are very outgoing and social. She will swat / hiss / hide, even during neutral interactions. We have tried rewarding good behavior, wearing everyone out via intense playtime, Feliway plug-ins, medication, separation and reintroduction - nothing helps.
