My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet teenage brother and sister BOND and M&M.  BOND is a male short-haired black and white tuxedo who is super playful and affectionate.   M&M is a female short-haired tortoiseshell with bright yellow-green eyes and a long, smooth tail. She is one of the sweetest cats her foster has ever met. BOND and M&M both enjoy chasing spiral springs and small puffy balls, exploring, and hanging out on cat trees or sleeping on the bed.  When not engaged in playtime, BOND and M&M love to cuddle on a warm lap and receive belly rubs.  BOND and M&M came to our cat rescue group after their litter was surrendered because the family of the mama cat was unable to keep the kittens.  These two social and silly kitties would be happiest with an affectionate and attentive family who will pet, cuddle, and play with them.

Bond and M&M have been neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Bond and M&M in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $320 bonded-pair adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  BOND ID #2408-C0309, M&M ID #2408-C0308.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
