Hello everyone! My name is Ruby Rose, life has been a little hard for me. I was hit by a car and I’ve been at the shelter since October. I am looking for a place to heal. I’ve been on treatment for kennel cough that I got at the shelter and just need a safe, loving place to rest while I come back to feeling 100%! I was in a foster home for a little bit and my foster parents say that I enjoyed snuggling and sleeping on anything comfortable! I love to nest in blankets and in pillows. I don’t care too much for toys. My foster parents said that I eat fast during mealtime and I will try to eat other dogs’ food if I finish mine first but not in an aggressive way, I’m just really hungry. They’ve tested me with other dogs and my foster parents had a senior dog and cat that I didn’t really pay attention to. I don’t really like to engage with other dogs, and if another dog gets too close into my personal space, I can let out a little growl but nothing scary. I would love to find another foster family who can show me what it’s like to be a dog who is potty trained, who has a consistent routine, and can work with me to help with the little bit of separation anxiety I have (bark + potty). I’ve been through alot so I just want to be near a loving human but I can work on being better with that, I just need someone to take a chance on me! I’m located at the Bonita animal shelter and available through Passion for Pitties Rescue!
