My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moose was brought to the shelter after being abused by his owner. He has had a rough start to his life, but he is safe now and so ready for his forever home. He is a two year old pit/boxer, but don't let his breed scare you, he is the biggest baby. He loves to give hugs despite all he's been through. Moose doesn't quite understand children or cats, so a cat free home with older, more considerate children would be ideal. He has been neutered and up to date on all his vaccines. If you would like to bring this handsome fella home, his adoption fee is $150 with an approved application.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
