My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beavis was surrendered to the shelter after his owners could no longer care for him properly and the family wanted to see better for him. Beavis was an outside dog after he grew up, chained inside a building/shed. He is a sweet boy around 8 years old. Already neutered. Seems to like the other dogs here, but living the way he did he didn't get to experience a lot of things. He has never been around cats before so we will cat test him when he is more settled in. Beavis would make a great farm dog and an inside/outside boy where he can live his golden years comfortably but still get to enjoy the outdoors when he wants. Adoption fee is $100

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
