Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
`Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the shelter, not a creature was stirring, not even this feline fellow! That`s me, Barley, the most easygoing and affectionate cat you`ll ever meet. While the other cats were dreaming of sugar plums, I was busy perfecting my holiday cheer. I love snuggling up in cozy blankets, batting at jingle bells, and watching the twinkling lights on the Christmas tree. My friendly nature means I`ll happily make room on the sofa for my human friends, and I promise to only steal the occasional catnip mouse from under the tree. This holiday season, all I want is a home to call my own and a family to shower with purrs and cuddles. So won`t you come meet me and make my Christmas wish come true? How did I get here? Brought in by a good smaritian.
**I have been diagnosed with diabetes. I’m on a special diet for Glucose Support in order to keep me happy and healthy. Please speak with an adoption specialist for details.**
~My adoption fee is $65.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
