My name is 45757 - Lenny!

D45757 This is Lenny. He is active and he loves adventure. Lenny needs someone who is dog savvy and you can read his body language to know when he is uncomfortable.  He wags his tail when he see you and wants to say hi. Sometimes when you pet him, he acts like you are going to hurt him and he is cautious. If you sit with him and show him you are gentle and will not hurt him, he is a smart dog and will understand. 

Lenny is 1yr old, already neutered and looks like he may have Jack Russell, Yorkie or Bichon in him. Lenny weighs 15lbs, is energetic and loves to go for walks to explore. He knows sit and wait but you need to be firm.  Lenny is a barker when he hears someone or if he is trying to get your attention. He would not be a good match for an apartment, condo or townhome. 

He is crate trained, used to being left for 3 hours alone, waits to go potty if you take him out often, has a playful, active and vocal personality, did not live with any children or other animals, loves fetch and all toys and loves to cuddle with you.  He has the type of hair that will need brushing and grooming.

He gets along well with dogs of his size and will engage in play. This dog would be best in a home that doesn't allow him to be the boss but understands he needs a minute to know he can trust you and you will not hurt him.
