My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I’m Blueberry—your soon-to-be favorite 24.6 lbs of pure sweetness and playfulness! At 6 months old, I’ve already mastered the art of being adorable, and I’m here to claim your heart (and your snacks, if you’re not careful).
I’m super friendly, get along great with other dogs, and let’s just say I’m a pro at zoomies. I’ll keep you entertained with my playful antics and, of course, my irresistible charm. Need a new best friend to snuggle and play with? I’m your girl!
For just $110, I come fully equipped with everything you need to fall in love: I’ll be spayed and vaccinated. Just a bundle of fun and love ready to join your family.
Want to meet me? Of course you do! Call the shelter at 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment. I’m waiting... but not patiently. I’ve got zoomies to do. Let’s make it happen! 😜

More about this shelter

We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the entire county of Talladega excluding the city limits of Lincoln, Sylacauga, and Childersburg. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
