My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spencer, a striking brindle beauty with a charming bull terrier-like face and stature! This adventurous pup was discovered wandering outside a bustling apartment dog park, and what an adventure it was! Despite a little disagreement with a fellow canine, a kind-hearted Samaritan swooped in to save the day, guiding Spencer to the safety of the dog park’s fenced area. Spencer is not just a pretty face; he’s got skills! This delightful pup knows some basic commands like sit and shake, and he`s got a passion for playing fetch—it`s his absolute favorite way to unleash his energy and have a blast! While Spencer may be a bit shy and occasionally trembles in the shelter environment, it’s completely understandable given his past. He’s a sensitive soul ready to trust again! When he met another dog on a leash at the shelter, he sniffed her with curiosity, but then gently retreated showing us he might just need a little extra socialization with other animals. Spencer is eager for a loving home where he can boost his confidence. With a sprinkle of patience and a dash of affection, we believe he will blossom into the fantastic companion he is destined to be. If you’re ready to make a difference in the life of a deserving dog, Spencer is buzzing with excitement to meet you at the shelter! We want to make sure that everyone finds the right fit! To help him feel more comfortable during his transition, we suggest a calm and patient home environment that`s free of small children. We also recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs prior to adoption.
