My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mystique is an affectionate and beautiful young grey and white mama cat who is seeking a home of her own. She is a complete lovie that always seeks to give and receive affection with any human she meets. Her affectionate nature would make her an ideal companion for any human or kitty alike. Mystique’s most striking features are her beautiful hazel eyes which complement her grey and white coat, her adorable lil white paws, and the of course her cute lil dark grey heart on the tip of her nose.

Mystique has gotten along wonderfully with all other cats and people she has met. She would be happy to have feline friends to hang out with, but she also has an independent streak and would excel as the only cat in the house. Mystique has met many children and has enjoyed hanging out with them just as much as she does with adults. She is a confident kitty so she would also be a good match for a gentle canine sibling.

Mystique loves to be pet, during which she purrs up a storm, butts her head against you, and gives plenty of kisses. She is pretty flexible and would be a good match for a household of humans that work from home or travel a lot or anything in between.

Mystique is 100% litter box trained, spayed, and has undergone comprehensive health treatments, including vaccinations and prevention against fleas. Mystique has also tested negative for FIV/FeLV, ensuring she is in excellent health and ready to find her forever home.

Please consider meeting this loving girl and giving her the wonderful forever home she truly deserves!

More about this rescue

Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
