My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Little One! 🐾

This sweet 11-pound girl has been through a lot but is ready for a fresh start. 🌟 Little One came to us from a hoarding situation, pregnant and unsure, but she bravely raised her last litter of puppies (born just 3 days after her arrival!) like the amazing momma she is. Now, she’s hoping for a calm, loving home where she can finally relax and be just her. 🏡💖Little One is estimated to be around 5 years old.

💬 About Little One:
🐕 Good with small dogs her size but prefers to avoid bigger dogs – they stress her out!
🛋️ Quiet and reserved, though she’s still figuring out this new world without her puppies.
🏃 Agile and sneaky – scaling fences is no problem for her!
🐾 Mostly house-trained, with just the occasional accident.
🦮 Leash-trained, though she sometimes has her own ideas about where to go.

Little One is shy right now, which may come from a lifetime of being protective over her puppies. She’s looking for a patient, understanding family who’ll give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved. 💕

🐾 What to Know:

She’s never been around kids, so any children in the home should meet her first.
We’re not sure how she feels about cats yet.
Little One deserves a quiet, caring home where she can truly shine as a loyal and loving companion. Could you be her person? 🐕✨ #AdoptLittleOne #RescueDogLove #NewBeginnings

Little One's adoption fee is $250, she is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, microchipped, negative for Lyme and Heartworm, and will be spayed and receive a rabies vaccine on January 17. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.

Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.
