Joseph is a sweet mixed breed boy that somewhere around 2. He has asked Santa if he would get him a forever loving home for Christmas. Joseph said he likes ear and butt scratches, walks, treats (which he takes nicely from hand) and if you want to toss in some snuggles with a warm blanket on the couch that is even better. If you would like to meet this boy the shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201. Lobby hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-1. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 with Saturday by appointment.

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
