This helps Fulton County Animal Center with pet care costs.
Meet Baker!
Baker is right at a year old, a American Pitbull Terrier - Shepherd mix and weighs in at 56#.
He came in to us as a stray and was not reclaimed. Baker did get along with the dog at his finders home. Unsure if he ok with cats as we have not officially tested him yet.
Baker is a loving guy and wants to please you! He is a bit unsure of new things, but praise and treats helps him get through it!
We are still getting to know him and will add more to his bio as we do!
Baker is potty trained and walks ok on a leash.
Current on vaccines, heartworm negative, neutered and on monthly prevention.
Baker did test positive for Lyme Disease and has begun his treatment for it here with us. It is not contagious to other dogs, as it is caused from an infected tick biting him.
If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog
Once submitted our staff will review and then contact you to set up a meet and greet! If it's a match, you can take home on the same day. Any other dogs in the home must come in for a meet & greet!
We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!
Closed Sunday/Thursday 11-4 Saturday/Monday 11-5 Tuesday/Friday 11-6 Wednesday
