Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
She hasn't been around many other pets. My parents have had dogs in the house, but I've always kept her away from them because she did get scared during their initial meeting. This was just for her safety and to avoid raising her anxiety. She may actually benefit from interactions with other pets and animals. I'm a truck driver and have lived on the road for most of her life. She has been alone while I'm away but well fed and watered. My parents interact with her daily as well.
She was born the only survivor in her litter, which drowned in a basement window well in 2013. Her mother, a stray, birthed them and left them during severe storms at that time. We rescued her and have had her since.
Unfortunately, with my busy schedule and recent move, I can no longer care for her. She needs a forever, caring home!
