Tortellini has only been with us a few weeks and has gone through a lot of adjustments. Found in southern Humboldt, he was transferred in, had all his vetting done, and moved into a new foster home. He is very comfortable with a senior cat there but lacks a playmate. He would do well having a kitty companion young enough to play.

Tortellini has been neutered, microchipped, deflead and dewormed, tested neative for FeLV and FIV, and had his first shots.

An application, virtual safety homecheck, landlord approval if renting, and an adoption fee are required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and with proof of disability.

More about this rescue

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
