Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butterfree is about a year old terrier mix. This boy is shy of guys but enjoys women and kids. His trust can be earned in time. We think the male that lived with him was not very nice to him. He would have to meet any dogs, and we think he lived with cats.**Please fill out an application found on our website under "adopt a pet" and send it in to start adoption process.**

More about this shelter

Van Wert is a small rural community. The Van Wert County Humane Society has seen hard times in the past but since the Humane Society is under a new board, things have changed for the better and we work hard to care for and adopt the animals at the shelter. We have a small base of volunteers that will come and spend time with the animals at the shelter. We take donations of any sort, and the Humane Society is 501c3.
