Meet Lexi!

Lexi is a 1-year-old Shepherd/Chihuahua mix with a sweet personality and lots of love to give. At just 24 pounds, she’s the perfect size for cuddles and companionship.

Lexi absolutely loves playing with other dogs. While she can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly and dives right into the fun.

This adorable pup isn’t just cute—she’s also wonderfully well-behaved. Lexi is fully potty trained and crate trained, making her ready to settle in as the perfect addition to any family.

Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
