My name is Steel!

Hi there,
Meet Steel. He is our 11 year old pure bred Blue Heeler. He is a fierce protector and smarter than most humans, but with that comes some behavior challenges. He is very food motivated and isn’t afraid to take food from small children’s hands, so a home with older children is perfect. He lives with another elderly dog and two kittens and doesn’t mind them, but a home where he can be slowly introduced to new animals is important. He needs space to run and is fully house trained. He loves to play, but had knee surgery at 7, almost 8 years old and we cant afford another surgery so he doesn’t get to play anymore. He needs someone with the time to pay attention to him.
